Hauptwerk beginner fun

With Hauptwerk version 4.2 free edition of 2015, it is possible to experiment with MIDI and learn the basics of performance with organ samples. The latest update Hauptwerk 7 released January 2022 requires a fee. As the Hauptwerk website explains you can “Connect your MIDI organ or keyboard to a computer to begin playing…”.

While Hauptwerk have designed their software for “professional and amateur organists, organ enthusiasts, and organ students….”, the earlier 4.2 free edition could be explored by all MIDI enthusiasts who relish the prospect of hearing their music played with professionally produced organ samples.
